Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring that inventory is moved accurately and safely to support our shipping and receiving departments.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as required.
- Inspect equipment for safety hazards and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL preferred but not required).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes.
