Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load & Unload: Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring product integrity and proper placement.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock organization.
- Maintenance Checks: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory for immediate hires.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- License: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
