Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload freight from trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Organize and stock inventory within the freezer and cooler sections.
- Temperature Monitoring: Strictly monitor and record temperature logs to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Cleanliness: Perform regular sanitation duties to maintain a hygienic storage environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in preparing orders for distribution to local and regional clients.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct basic inspection and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- Cold Tolerance: Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 30°F to 40°F for extended shifts.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred.
- Documentation: High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanners.
- Safety: Strong understanding of workplace safety protocols and OSHA standards.
