Responsibilities
- Safely Load & Unload: Efficiently load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks and storage racks, ensuring cargo is secure.
- Inventory Control: Verify and check incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists to minimize errors.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks (certification provided).
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect packages for damage before and after loading to maintain high standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily productivity goals and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must possess a consistent work history and reliable transportation.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and accurate record-keeping.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; we train the right candidates.
- Schedule: Must be available for full-time shifts, including nights and weekends.
