Responsibilities
- Safe Equipment Operation: Manually operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
- Pallet Organization: Stack, arrange, and organize pallets according to company safety and inventory protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in verifying stock accuracy and completing necessary paperwork or logs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections to ensure forklifts are in proper working order.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator license (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Experience: Proven experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and bend frequently.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
