Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Order Picker, etc.) in a safe and efficient manner according to all OSHA regulations.
- Load, unload, and stage freight accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads for transport.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping and organizing aisles.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Update inventory systems and process shipping/receiving documents accurately.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and throughput goals.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must provide copy).
- Ability to obtain a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) license if not already certified.
- Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
