Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Sort, pack, and organize inventory within the temperature-controlled storage areas.
- Monitor storage temperatures regularly to ensure product quality and safety compliance.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, to move materials.
- Conduct regular sanitation checks to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
- Assist in inventory audits, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding inventory levels and potential issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Experience working in cold or freezer environments is highly preferred.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and stock management.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
