Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely drive and operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counting, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
- Pallet Handling: Efficiently wrap, stack, and organize pallets according to warehouse standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in proper working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with warehouse managers and team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a current, valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform physical labor.
- Availability: Flexible availability to work part-time shifts, including weekends and holidays (Overtime is standard).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain organized workspaces.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
