Responsibilities
- Receive and Inspect Goods: Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately select products from the warehouse floor and prepare them for shipment using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock counts using handheld scanners (RF guns) and update inventory systems in real-time.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move heavy loads as required.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep storage aisles clear, organize shelves, and ensure the facility meets safety and cleanliness standards.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Assist in loading outbound trucks and unloading inbound freight efficiently during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Must be able to work in varying temperature environments.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; familiarity with warehouse management software or RF scanners is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
