Responsibilities
- Safely Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Inventory Organization: Sort, stack, and label inventory according to company standards and storage systems.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and in compliance with safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and safe at all times by adhering to 5S principles.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork, including packing slips and delivery logs.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly; must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; ability to read and understand safety labels and operational manuals.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
