Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Retrieve merchandise from shelves using scanners and pick-to-light systems, then pack items securely for shipment.
- Accuracy Verification: Verify product quantities, labels, and packing lists against work orders to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Inventory Maintenance: Assist in maintaining inventory organization and ensuring the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and safe.
- Quality Control: Inspect packages for damage and ensure they meet shipping standards before they leave the facility.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to meet daily production targets and safety goals.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn warehouse management software (WMS) and handheld scanners quickly.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Background: Must pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
