Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment according to customer orders and safety guidelines.
- Verify accuracy of picked items against packing slips and perform basic quality checks.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages correctly and ensure proper sorting for shipping carriers.
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanners is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail setting is preferred but not required.
