Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier scheduling
- Manage inventory control and warehouse operations to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate rates with carriers to reduce transportation costs
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions for delayed or damaged shipments
- Utilize TMS/WMS systems to track shipments, generate reports, and maintain data accuracy
- Liaise with customs brokers, suppliers, and clients to ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior coordinators and process improvements for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in shipping/logistics coordination with international exposure
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office Suite
- Deep knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and import/export compliance
- Certification in logistics (CSCP, CLTD, or CPIM) preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to resolve complex shipping issues
- Strong negotiation skills and carrier relationship management experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency highly valued for LA market
