Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier negotiations
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse logistics to ensure seamless order fulfillment
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate contracts with ocean, air, and ground carriers
- Implement compliance protocols for international shipping regulations (CBP, FDA, DOT)
- Lead cross-functional projects with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain real-time visibility of shipments using TMS platforms like Oracle or SAP
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight forwarding or logistics coordination
- Proficiency with shipping software (e.g., Descartes, WiseTech)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and customs documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills under tight deadlines
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work flexible shifts during peak seasons
- Spanish bilingual required for cross-border operations
