Responsibilities
- Coordinate international and domestic shipments across multiple carriers
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices)
- Optimize transportation routes and negotiate carrier rates
- Track shipments proactively and resolve delivery exceptions
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customs teams
- Implement process improvements for shipping efficiency
- Maintain compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (SAP/JDA preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in high-pressure environment
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- APICS/CLTD certification preferred
