Responsibilities
- Coordinate Logistics: Schedule and manage domestic and international shipments to ensure on-time delivery and optimal routing.
- Documentation: Prepare, verify, and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Carrier Relations: Communicate effectively with freight carriers and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and address customer inquiries.
- Tracking & Reporting: Utilize TMS systems to track shipments in real-time and provide status updates to the operations team.
- Inventory Control: Collaborate with the warehouse team to manage outbound stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Incoterms and general shipping regulations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
