Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the full lifecycle of inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling carriers and tracking cargo.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists, ensuring compliance with international and domestic regulations.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, clients, and internal teams to resolve shipping delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping data in our ERP system (SAP/Oracle) and generate performance reports.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper inventory handling and packaging standards are met.
- Optimize shipping routes and carrier selection to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software or ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes, Incoterms, and shipping regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
