Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and transport modes
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices, customs forms)
- Optimize routing and scheduling to minimize transit costs and delays
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve logistics disruptions proactively
- Liaise with customs brokers, warehouse teams, and international partners
- Implement and maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and export regulations
- Analyze shipping metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certified Customs Broker (preferred) or familiarity with HTSUS
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms® 2020 and trade compliance
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-volume environments
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required
