Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers
- Prepare and process shipping documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices)
- Monitor shipment tracking and proactively resolve transit delays
- Optimize freight costs through carrier negotiations and route planning
- Maintain inventory control and warehouse receiving protocols
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to meet delivery deadlines
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and customs regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in freight coordination or logistics
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and export documentation
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification preferred
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field
