Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic/international shipments to meet delivery deadlines
- Manage all shipping documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and invoices
- Track and trace shipments using logistics software, providing real-time updates to stakeholders
- Negotiate rates with carriers and optimize shipping routes for cost efficiency
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and communicate with carriers/customers to ensure compliance
- Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare weekly shipping reports
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to align shipping schedules
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or TMS systems)
- Strong knowledge of shipping regulations (DOT, IATA, customs requirements)
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Associate degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse management systems
