Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities including order processing, documentation, and carrier scheduling
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies to prevent shipping delays
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Manage customs documentation for international shipments and compliance
- Analyze shipping performance metrics and implement process improvements
- Build and maintain relationships with freight carriers and shipping vendors
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) to track shipments and generate reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP software
- Strong knowledge of shipping regulations (DOT, IATA, customs)
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred
