Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments via air, sea, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and warehouse teams to resolve delivery issues
- Optimize routing and carrier selection to minimize costs and transit times
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate warehouse receiving
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Incoterms, customs brokerage, and hazmat shipping
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service abilities
- High school diploma required; supply chain certification preferred
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
