Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including order processing, carrier selection, and documentation compliance
- Optimize freight routing and negotiate carrier contracts to minimize costs and transit times
- Maintain real-time shipment tracking systems and proactively resolve delivery exceptions
- Collaborate with customs brokers and international partners for cross-border shipments
- Analyze shipping data to identify efficiency improvements and implement process enhancements
- Manage inventory coordination between warehouses and distribution centers
- Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination, logistics, or supply chain management
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan preferred)
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (CSCP, CLTD, or CPIM) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret shipping KPIs and performance metrics
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and crisis management experience
- Deep knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations and documentation
- Advanced Excel skills and data visualization capabilities
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
