Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track all inbound and outbound shipments to guarantee timely delivery.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Manage inventory levels and update the warehouse management system (WMS) accurately.
- Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies and delays.
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize logistics routes.
- Ensure strict compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of freight when necessary to ensure operational continuity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- 1-2 years of proven experience in shipping, logistics, or warehousing operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
