Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Monitor shipment status in real-time, communicating delays or issues to stakeholders immediately.
- Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve logistics challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory levels within the ERP system.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal shipping regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Shipping Coordinator or in a similar logistics role.
- Proficiency in transportation management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
