Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international freight shipments using various carriers.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve any logistical issues or delays promptly.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients regarding shipment status.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping of shipping logs.
- Analyze shipping costs and optimize routes to reduce overall expenses.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination role.
- Proficiency in transportation management software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics preferred.
