Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse operations to ensure accurate stock levels
- Resolve shipment discrepancies and delays through proactive communication with carriers and clients
- Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs while maintaining delivery timelines
- Implement and maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Generate detailed reports on shipping metrics and KPIs for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to align shipping strategies with business objectives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or TMS systems)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations and documentation
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10 training a plus
