Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including carrier selection, documentation, and tracking
- Manage inventory control and warehouse operations to ensure accurate stock levels
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and exceptions with proactive problem-solving
- Collaborate with customs brokers and international partners for cross-border shipments
- Generate shipping reports and analyze logistics data for process optimization
- Maintain compliance with DOT, FDA, and international shipping regulations
- Train junior staff on shipping protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or supply chain management
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or TMS systems)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, hazardous materials handling, and customs procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven track record of reducing shipping costs and improving delivery times
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends for urgent shipments
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
