Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes across multiple carriers and modes (air, ground, ocean)
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate competitive rates with 3PL providers
- Maintain real-time shipment tracking systems and proactively resolve transit delays
- Prepare and manage customs documentation for international shipments (NAFTA, FTA)
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely dock scheduling and load efficiency
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards for continuous improvement
- Act as primary liaison between clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active preferred)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and international trade regulations
- Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) or equivalent certification preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with crisis management experience
- Advanced Excel skills and data visualization capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
