Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, ocean, and ground freight
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices)
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Resolve shipping delays and exceptions proactively
- Collaborate with carriers to negotiate optimal rates and transit times
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
- Generate shipping reports and performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS systems and MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of Incoterms® and customs procedures
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in high-pressure environment
- Relevant certifications (CSCP, CLTD) preferred
- Experience with hazardous materials shipping a plus
