Responsibilities
- Pick, Pack, and Ship: Accurately process customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure timely delivery.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to prevent stock discrepancies.
- Material Handling: Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move materials safely and efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free workplace environment.
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring cargo security and proper handling of fragile items.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and peers to meet daily productivity goals and maintain high operational standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods. Must be able to work in various weather conditions (loading docks).
- Equipment: Valid forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
