Responsibilities
- Load and Unload:** Efficiently load and unload freight trucks and pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Verification:** Cross-reference packing lists with physical inventory to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Stock Organization:** Sort, tag, and organize stock in designated areas to optimize warehouse flow and safety.
- Safety Compliance:** Adhere to strict OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance:** Perform daily pre-shift inspections on machinery and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration:** Communicate effectively with team leads to meet daily production goals and quotas.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Documentation: Valid driver's license and ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling products and data.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
