Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming shipments against packing lists, identifying any discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Organization: Stock and organize inventory in designated storage areas to ensure easy accessibility and optimal space utilization.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the logistics team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting and strong attention to detail.
- License: Valid driverβs license (Class C) is preferred.
- Attitude: A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
