Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Manage and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse associates with flexible scheduling
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Optimize inventory control systems and implement process improvements
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely deliveries and pickups
- Generate performance reports and analyze operational metrics
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance checks and safety audits
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience with flexible scheduling background
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
