Responsibilities
- Oversee daily receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement procedures to minimize shrinkage and errors.
- Enforce strict safety policies and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a secure work environment.
- Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff to foster a culture of productivity and accountability.
- Coordinate logistics schedules, manage loading docks, and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with management to forecast staffing needs and manage budgets effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar logistics role (minimum 3-5 years).
- Forklift certification and valid driver's license required.
- Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality control.
