Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily workflow, ensuring that all inbound and outbound activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Team Management: Mentor, train, and supervise a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace for all employees.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and manage inventory discrepancies effectively.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in warehouse processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper care and maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification is highly preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
