Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products: Safely transport goods within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure accurate inventory counts using scanning systems.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Picking and Packing: Follow detailed pick lists and packing instructions to ensure customer orders are met with precision and speed.
- Environment Maintenance: Perform regular temperature checks and assist in maintaining the integrity of the cold storage environment (typically 30-40°F).
Qualifications
- Cold Storage Tolerance: Ability to work comfortably in cold environments for extended shifts.
- Physical Stamina: Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly and standing or walking for the duration of the shift.
- Basic Skills: Strong math skills and the ability to read and comprehend basic instructions.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail are essential.
